Have you ever deployed your rdl file to the web server
and lost it on your local machine?
When the rdl file gets deployed, it becomes a "managed report".
If you have lost your rdl file on your local server then
following steps could recover your rdl file:
1. Launch report server.
2. Select your report to be recovered.
3. click on properties tab on top left hand corner.
4. click on edit link right under the report definition label.
5. Dialogue box would come up.
6. Click the save button and it would save the rdl file
in your desired folder.
Happy reporting...
Thanks for posting this. It came in handy

Reporting sever url is not working because of some local setting issues, but I am able access to all the folder where my reporting service was installed. Is there any get RDL file from the folder or from report database.
